Keväisen julkaisuviikon päätähtenä kuullaan amerikkalaisen indieveteraani Modest Mousen single We Are Between, joka on ensimmäinen singlelohkaisu yhtyeen kesällä julkaistavalta albumilta The Golden Casket. Bändin edellisestä albumista on ehtinyt vierähtää jo kuusi vuotta. We Are Between on ihanasti New Orderille nyökkäävä indierock-ralli, joka kuulostaa ihanan tuoreelta.

Modest Mousen lisäksi isoja helmiä julkaisivat Tanskan ja Pohjoismaiden kovin rokkibändi Iceage, jenkkipunk-legenda Descendents, hittipoppari St. Vincent, Shine 2009 -yhtyeestä tutun Sami Suovan uusi sooloprojekti Job, postpunk-yhtye Squid ja muutama viikko sitten debyyttisinglellään vakuuttanut Pambikallio.
